Practical Help Needed
- Can you help out at events? Cornish Quest is planning a number of events and we would like to hear from you if you can help to put these on.
- Cornish history. We are keen to hear from those who have a specialist knowledge of aspects of Cornish history. Please let Cornish Quest know if you could write a piece for the 'Contributing to Cornish Heritage and Culture' page which is soon to go up on the website as part of the 'Resources' section. We will use a lot of this historical information in teaching materials if we can.
- Letters of support. Please take a few minutes to write a letter explaining why young people should have the opportunity to learn about Cornish heritage. These letters are an essential part of grant application processes and we would find your views very useful to inform funding organisations. Please send copies to admin@cornishquest.org
- Can you put on a fund-raising event to help Cornish Quest meet its objectives – perhaps you would be prepared to hold a cream tea afternoon, a sponsored event or a pub quiz. A good fund-raising event can raise enough to provide a book on Cornish history to every secondary school in Cornwall.
